Belarus planning to initiate strategic dialogue between CSTO, China
MINSK. Nov 23 (Interfax) - Belarus during its chairmanship in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) is looking to initiate a strategic dialogue between the CSTO and China, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said, speaking at a plenary session of the Collective Security Council in Yerevan.
Broadening of partnership ties with global players such as China will help the CSTO consolidate its positions on the international stage, Lukashenko said.
"To these ends, the Belarusian chairmanship wishes to initiate the CSTO-China Strategic Dialogue," he said.
