Russia, Belarus to sign intergovt agreement on mutual recognition of Covid-19 vaccination certificates

MINSK. Nov 23 (Interfax) - Minsk and Moscow will sign an intergovernmental agreement on the mutual recognition of Covid-19 vaccination certificates, according to a Belarusian government resolution published on the national legislation website on Wednesday.

"To accept the proposal of the Health Ministry, coordinated with the Foreign Ministry and the Justice Ministry, on the conclusion of an agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Russian Federation through the exchange of notes in regard to the mutual recognition of certificates of vaccination for novel coronavirus (Covid-19)," the resolution said.

Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko signed the document.

He also tasked the Belarusian Foreign Ministry with carrying out procedures to conclude the agreement through the exchange of notes.
