MOSCOW. Nov 22 (Interfax) - Zarina Doguzova has been relieved of her duties as the head of Russia's abolished Federal Tourism Agency (Rostourism) and has been offered a seat on the Russian government's Expert Board.

"Head of the Federal Tourism Agency (Rostourism) Zarina Doguzova has been relieved of her duties. The respective order has been signed," the government's press service said on Tuesday.

Boris Belyakov, press secretary for the Russian prime minister, said that Doguzova's knowledge and expertise would be in demand. "She has been offered to join the government's Expert Board," he said.

An ad hoc commission has been set up to abolish Rostourism. It is led by Rostourism deputy head Grigory Prokuronov.

The Economic Development Ministry, to which the functions of the abolished agency have been reassigned, supervises the abolition process. According to a government resolution, the process should be completed by March 15, 2023.
