Ukrainian exports 16 mln tonnes of grain in 2022-2023 marketing year so far

MOSCOW. Nov 18 (Interfax) - Ukraine has exported 15.95 million tonnes of grains since the start of the 2022-2023 marketing year that began in July, Ukrainian media said, quoting the Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry.

Grain exports this year are 31.3% below last year, with 23.2 million tonnes of grains exported between July 1 and November 18 in 2021.

Ukraine has exported 8.44 million tonnes of corn since the start of the current marketing year, up two-fold, 6.14 million tonnes of wheat, down 54.5%, 1.31 million tonnes of barley, down 73%, 11,200 tonnes of rye, down 85.3%, and 47,600 tonnes of flour, down 1.4%.

Ukraine has exported 2.75 million tonnes of grains since the start of November. This includes 1.14 million tonnes 0f wheat, 1.39 million tonnes of corn, 199,000 tonnes of barley, 5,000 tonnes of rye, and 9,200 tonnes of flour.

Ukraine exported 48.51 million tonnes of grains and pulses and in the 2021-2022 MY, up 8.4% from the previous season, including 18.74 million tonnes of wheat, up 12.6%, 23.54 million tonnes of corn, up 1.9%, 5.75 million tonnes of barley, up 35.9%, and 70,900 tonnes of flour, down 44.1%.
