Zelensky appoints ex-Prosecutor General Venediktova as Ukraine's ambassador to Switzerland

MOSCOW. Nov 18 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has appointed former Prosecutor General Irina Venediktova as Ukraine's ambassador to Switzerland.

The decree to this effect, dated November 17, is available for viewing on the presidential website.

Venediktova served as a member of the Ukrainian parliament from August 29, 2019 to January 14, 2020, representing the Servant of the People pro-presidential party. She held the post of Ukraine's prosecutor general from March 17, 2020 to July 17, 2022.
