Russia, Azerbaijan sign agreement on development of border crossing points, other documents

BAKU. Nov 17 (Interfax) - Russia and Azerbaijan have signed an intergovernmental agreement on cooperation to coordinately develop border crossing points between the two countries and transport approaches to them.

They also signed an agreement on information cooperation in countering the legalization of criminal proceeds and the financing of terrorism through carrying funds across the border by individuals.

The Russian Federal Service for the Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and the Azerbaijani Health Ministry signed an agreement on cooperation in providing epidemiological wellbeing with regard to plague in border territories and on cooperation in implementing the International Health Regulations.

The Russian Industry and Trade Ministry and the Azerbaijani Economy Ministry signed an agreement on cooperation in the shipbuilding sector.

The Russian Transport Ministry and the Azerbaijani Digital Development and Transport Ministry signed a memorandum on the development of cooperation in training and retraining personnel in the transport sector.

The documents were signed following Russian-Azerbaijani negotiations.
