USAID to back establishment of processing businesses in Ukraine starting 2023 - Shmygal
MOSCOW. Nov 17 (Interfax) - The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) will support the establishment of processing enterprises in Ukraine starting next year, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said.
"The government is interested in increasing value added, and therefore, it is supporting the establishment of medium-sized processing businesses already now through eRobota grant programs. An agreement has been achieved with USAID on supporting this sector starting next year," Ukrainian media quoted Shmygal's statement circulated by his press service.
Ukraine expects a significant capital inflow following the crisis, he said.
"A lot of attention will be attached to public-private partnership and concession projects, and a key role in this strategy will be assigned to Ukrainian businesses," it said.
