EU boosts support to help Ukraine rebuild power infrastructure - EU Commissioner Simson

MOSCOW. Nov 16 (Interfax) - The European Union is enhancing its support for Ukraine in rebuilding the country's power infrastructure damaged on November 15, EU Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson said.

"The EU ramps up its support. Had a coordination call with Ukrainian and EU [energy] ministers this morning. Grateful to UK and Norway for joining," Ukrainian media outlets quoted Simson as saying on social media on Wednesday.

Fifteen key power infrastructure facilities across Ukraine were damaged on Tuesday, Ukrainian media said.
