Azerbaijan prepared to invest in development of Albania's gas system - Aliyev

BAKU. Nov 15 (Interfax) - Azerbaijan is ready to invest in the development of Albania's gas transmission system, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said following talks with Albanian President Bajram Begaj in Tirana on Tuesday.

"We talked with you today on the contribution that we can make to the development of Albanian's gas service. We have our own thoughts on this matter. A gas network has still not been created in Albania. Azerbaijan could participate in this area as an investor, and we're ready for that," Aliyev told Begaj.

This and other issues related to energy will also be discussed further, he said.
