U.S. imposes sanctions against Suleiman Kerimov's family members, investment company Bonum, Murat Aliev

MOSCOW. Nov 14 (Interfax) - The United States has imposed sanctions against some members of Suleiman Kerimov's family, as well as companies and businessmen which, according to U.S. authorities' estimations, had a relation to the management of his assets.

The Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons (SDN) List, in particular, comprises Kerimov's wife Firuza, his children Gulnara, Amina, Said, the companies Alstone Investment AG (formerly known as Swiru Holding AG), Bonum Capital, Murat Aliev, and Alexander-Walter Studhalter, the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) said in its report.

Kerimov has been under U.S. sanctions since 2018.
