Ukraine provides more funding for construction of its embassy in Turkey

MOSCOW. Nov 14 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government has approved an increased in the cost of the project to complete the construction of the Ukrainian embassy compound in Turkey.

The government agreed to the Foreign Ministry's proposal in 2021 regarding a project worth a total of 125.790 million hryvni to build the Ukrainian embassy's compound in Turkey in 2021-2022.

In September 2022, the Ukrainian government provided 110 million hryvni to fund the final stage of the construction of the embassy compound in Turkey.

Ukrainian media said, citing a November 11 directive, that the government amended its earlier resolution and agreed to the Foreign Ministry's proposal on embassy construction in line with endorsed project documentation carrying an overall price tag of 150.133 million hryvni.

According to reports, 110.033 million hryvni arrived from the reserve fund of the Ukrainian budget and another 40.100 million hryvni were provided from the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's state budget fund.
