Ukraine terminates agreements with Russia, Belarus on cooperation in geodesy, cartography, cadaster, and Earth remote sensing

MOSCOW. Nov 14 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government has terminated the agreements on cooperation in geodesy, cartography, cadaster and Earth remote sensing between the governments of Ukraine, Russia and Belarus.

As the Ukrainian media reported, citing the government's representative in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk the relevant decision was made at a government meeting last Friday.

In particular, the agreement between the Ukrainian and Russian governments on cooperation in the field of geodesy, cartography, cadaster and Earth remote sensing was terminated.

The agreement with Russia on mutual exchange of topographic and geodesic, cartographic and aerospace materials and the agreement with Belarus on cooperation in geodesy, cartography and Earth remote sensing was also terminated.
