Ukrainian Foreign Ministry urges Hungarian govt to denounce MP Toroczkai's remark

MOSCOW. Nov 14 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has called on the Hungarian government to denounce remarks by Hungarian parliamentarian Laszlo Toroczkai, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Oleg Nikolenko said.

"Hungarian MP Laszlo Toroczkai's call for a revision of state borders is unacceptable. We urge the Hungarian government to denounce such irresponsible remarks, which undermine our bilateral relations and are inconsistent with the spirit of neighborliness," Ukrainian media quoted Nikolenko as saying on his social account.

Toroczkai earlier posted a message greeting Poland on Independence Day, proposing that Hungary and Poland "meet again at the common Polish-Hungarian border" in the future.
