Another two McDonald's restaurants resume operation in Ukraine
MOSCOW. Nov 11 (Interfax) - McDonald's resumed its operation at both its restaurants in Cherkassy on Friday, Ukrainian media reported, citing the company's press service.
The restaurants are operating under updated safety protocols: in particular, they will not operate in case of power outages, it said.
As reported, McDonald's began gradually opening restaurants in Ukraine on September 20, 2022. As of November 11, the company's chain in Ukraine runs 56 restaurants.
McDonald's has had 109 restaurants in 24 Ukrainian cities before February 24.
McDonald's Ukraine Ltd., an enterprise with foreign investment, is developing the domestic fast food chain. The first restaurant was opened in Kiev on May 24, 1997.
According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs, MCD Europe Limited (100%, London, UK) is a party to the foreign investment company.
