CPC's second single point mooring to start operations in two days - Kazakh minister
ASTANA. Nov 10 (Interfax) - The Caspian Pipeline Consortium's (CPC) second single point mooring (SPM) will start operations within two days, Kazakh Energy Minister Bolat Akchulakov said.
"SPM-2 will start working within a couple of days if there's no storm warning and the weather allows. SPM-2 is more than sufficient," Akchulakov said on the sidelines of the Senate.
"According to the weather forecast, it seems they should manage [to launch SPM-2 within two days]," he said, adding that oil is currently being loaded into tanks at both the field and at the port in Novorossiysk.
