Putin, Pashinyan discuss preparations for CSTO Collective Security Council session in Yerevan on Nov 23 - Kremlin

MOSCOW. Nov 9 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has had a telephone call with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the Kremlin press service said.

"The parties discussed preparations for the next session of the Collective Security Council of the [Collective Security Treaty Organization] CSTO to take place under the Armenian side's chairmanship in Yerevan on November 23, 2022," the press service said.

Meanwhile, the Armenian government's press service said that Armenia expects Putin's visit to Yerevan on November 22.

"Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation today. The parties discussed items on the agenda of a summit of the CSTO member states slated for November 23 and the Russian president's visit to Armenia on November 22," the press service said.

Pashinyan and Putin also exchanged opinions on events that have passed since the trilateral meeting between the Armenian, Azerbaijani, and Russian leaders in Sochi on October 31 and on the implementation of a number of humanitarian agreements.
