State Duma adopts law on procedure to transfer individual entrepreneurs, legal entities of DPR, LPR, Kherson, Zaporozhye regions to Russian jurisdiction

MOSCOW. Nov 9 (Interfax) - The Russian State Duma on Wednesday in the third and final reading adopted the law on the procedure and timeframes for including individual entrepreneurs and legal entities of the Donetsk People's Republic, Lugansk People's Republic, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions in the legal system and jurisdiction of the Russian Federation.

Pavel Krasheninnikov and Andrei Klishas, the respective heads of the legislative committees of the State Duma and the Federation Council, initiated the bill.

The law stipulates that those registered as individual entrepreneurs in the Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics, Kherson, and Zaporozhye regions may continue to conduct entrepreneurial activities until June 30, 2023, without registration.

According to the law, these individuals must register as individual entrepreneurs in order to continue entrepreneurial activities after June 30, 2023.
