Sberbank sees no worsening of retail portfolio's quality, situation stable

MOSCOW. Nov 9 (Interfax) - Sberbank has not recorded any worsening of quality in its retail loan portfolio, and the situation is developing within expectations, Kirill Tsarev, the bank's first deputy CEO, said.

"We don't see any significant worsening of quality. It's within forecast. The whole situation is relatively stable. We're not recording anything extraordinary with regard to our retail portfolio today," Tsarev said at a press conference dedicated to the annual Green Day event.

Tsarev said when speaking on retail portfolio restructuring that the peak of applications for payment breaks from those who have been mobilized was recorded in the first two or two and a half weeks after September 21, but even at that time, the share of applications for restructuring from those who have been mobilized was less than 50% of all applications for restructuring. This share is currently less than 30%.
