Texts of bills endorsing Zelensky's decrees to extend martial law, general mobilization in Ukraine published

MOSCOW. Nov 9 (Interfax) - The texts of the bills endorsing Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky's decrees to extend martial law and the period of general mobilization in the country have been published on the Verkhovna Rada's website.

The bills extend martial law and the period of general mobilization in Ukraine from 5:30 a.m. on November 21, 2022 by 90 days, Ukrainian media said, citing explanatory notes to the draft legislation.

Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada extended martial law and the period of general mobilization in the country by 90 days on August 15.

As reported earlier, Zelensky had signed the decrees "On the introduction of martial law in Ukraine" and "On general mobilization" on February 24, 2022. The parliament approved them the same day.

Zelensky extended martial law and the period of general mobilization in the country three times this year, and the Verkhovna Rada supported the president's relevant decrees.
