Fourteen vessels to be loaded at 3 Ukrainian ports on Tuesday and Wednesday under Istanbul grain deal

MOSCOW. Nov 8 (Interfax) - Another seven vessels arrived at Ukrainian ports on November 7 under the Black Sea Grain Initiative to be loaded with 131,000 tonnes of agricultural products, Ukraine's Infrastructure Minister Alexander Kubrakov said.

"The vessel traffic has been unblocked," Ukrainian media outlets quoted Kubrakov as saying in a social media post. Another seven vessels are due to enter the Ukrainian ports on Wednesday to be loaded with 140,000 tonnes of grain, he said.

The Joint Coordination Center, in turn, said that another 77 vessels are waiting to enter the Ukrainian ports, and 15 loaded vessels are awaiting inspection in Turkish territorial waters.

As reported, Ukraine, Turkey and Russia signed an UN-brokered agreement in Istanbul on July 22 on opening a corridor to export grain from three Ukrainian ports - Chernomorsk, Odessa and Yuzhny (Pivdenny). Ukraine has said that its goal is to bring agricultural exports to three million tonnes a month under the Black Sea Grain Initiative.
