VTB CFO Dmitry Pyanov appointed deputy head of management board

MOSCOW. Nov 7 (Interfax) - VTB Chief Financial Officer Dmitry Pyanov has been appointed deputy head of the lender's management board, VTB said in a statement.

The supervisory board made the decision at the end of September, with the candidacy later agreed with the Bank of Russia.

Previously, Pyanov was a member of VTB's management board and head of the bank's Finance Department. In his new capacity, he will continue to lead the Finance Department, including such areas as treasury, business planning, shareholder and investor relations, expense and efficiency management, as well as overseeing the Accounting Department.

"The appointment of Dmitry Pyanov will ensure clear coordination of VTB Group's financial block and will further improve the efficiency of the business," the bank said in the statement.

Pyanov was born on December 7, 1977. He graduated from Omsk State University. In 2010, he joined VTB Group as Senior Vice President of the Finance Department. Prior to joining VTB, he worked in executive positions at large credit institutions.
