KTZ Express, RZD Logistics and Turkmenistan's TULM to boost freight traffic on North-South route
ASTANA. Nov 3 (Interfax) - KTZ Express, a subsidiary of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (KTZ), Russia's RZD Logistics and Turkmenistan's Transport and Logistics Center (TULM) have signed a memorandum of cooperation in international freight traffic, KTZ said on Thursday.
The document provides for scheduled freight transportation between the three countries and via their territories, boosting the international import-export flow of goods through the North-South railway corridor, and using jointly the transport and logistics infrastructure.
The parties plan to launch new freight train services between the countries on the routes that will cut delivery times for agricultural and food products.
