Twitter's unblocking in Russia depends on its compliance with Russian laws - Peskov

MOSCOW. Nov 2 (Interfax) - Compliance with Russian laws is the main condition for unblocking access to Twitter in Russia, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

Journalists asked Peskov on Wednesday whether the recent profound changes in the social network, the equities of which were purchased by businessman Elon Musk, might help unblock the access to Twitter in Russia. "The question is whether a particular social network complies with current Russian laws," Peskov said.

"The regulations, which social networks need to honor in order to work in our country, are well known. This is the main criteria," he said.
