Erdogan plans to discuss grain deal with Putin, Zelensky - Turkish FM

ISTANBUL. Nov 1 (Interfax) - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expects to discuss a number of issues, including the Istanbul grain deal, with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said on Tuesday.

"The Turkish president will hold negotiations, including as regards the grain deal, with his counterparts from Ukraine and Russia within the next few days, the Anadolu news agency quoted Cavusoglu as saying.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said on Saturday that, in the wake of a drone attack on Black Sea Fleet ships in Sevastopol, Moscow suspended indefinitely its participation in the implementation of the Black Sea grain initiative. The Russian permanent mission to the United Nations later officially notified the UN secretary-general of the suspension of Russia's participation in the grain deal.
