Moscow to meet grain supply obligations to Cairo - Russian Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW. Oct 31 (Interfax) - Russia will fully meet its grain supply obligations to Egypt despite the suspension of the Black Sea Grain Initiative, Russian Deputy Foreign Ministry, Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov said.

"We will do everything we have agreed on with our partner, especially such an important partner as Egypt, with whom we have extensive cooperation in a variety of areas," Bogdanov said in response to Interfax's question.

The technical aspects of grain supply are being discussed. "I think optimal solutions will be found," he said.
