Transmashholding sends five freight locomotives to Turkmen railways, concludes 2022 contract

BRYANSK. Oct 31 (Interfax) - The Bryansk Machine-Building Plant, part of Transmashholding, has shipped five 2TE25KM mainline freight locomotives to Turkmenistan's state-owned railways operator, OJSC Demiryollary [Railways], Transmashholding's press service reported.

"Transmashholding has thereby fulfilled the contract signed in August 2022," the press service said.

Transmashholding's press service also noted that Turkmenistan's Demiryollary company purchased one locomotive in 2021, and, following a year of its use, expressed its intention to continue cooperation with Bryansk Machine-Building Plant.
