About 320,000 Russian citizens arrive in Uzbekistan in 2022 - Uzbek Interior Ministry

TASHKENT. Oct 28 (Interfax) - Almost 320,000 Russian citizens arrived in Uzbekistan in the first nine months of 2022, while 189,000 of them came to the country in Q3, the information service of the Uzbek Interior Ministry said on Friday.

"A total of 318,156 citizens of the Russian Federation arrived in Uzbekistan over nine months of 2022," the service said.

The largest inflow of arrivals from Russia, or 189,175, was recorded by Uzbekistan in July-September, according to the service.

The Uzbek State Statistics Committee reported a 110% year-on-year increase in Russian tourist arrivals to 395,100 in January-September.
