Affiliate of hotel operator Azimut becomes resident of Kaliningrad special administrative region

KALININGRAD. Oct 25 (Interfax) - Azimut Group International Company LLC was added to the registry of residents of the special administrative region (SAR) on Oktyabrsky Island in Russia's Kaliningrad Region on October 21, the SAR management company reported.

The company's core business is "activities of holding companies."

Prior to redomiciling in the SAR, the company was registered in Luxembourg under the name Azimut Group SARL. The founders of the new company are Moscow-based JSC Unity Holding with 95% and Luxembourg-based Gleden Capital SARL with 5%.

The head of the new company is Maxim Brodovsky, who also serves as CEO of hotel chain Azimut Hotels.

Unity Holding was incorporated in March 2022. Yelena Vaidman, who has been linked in the media to Azimut Hotels, is its founder and CEO.

Azimut Hotels operates more than 60 hotels and resorts in 50 cities in Russia and other countries with a total of more than 11,000 rooms. According to public sources, the hotel chain is owned by Alexander Klyachin.
