Chernogolovka launches new production line in Novosibirsk for 400 mln rubles

NOVOSIBIRSK. Oct 25 (Interfax) - The Chernogolovka group of companies has launched a new production line with capacity of 13,000 two-liter bottles per hour at a plant in Novosibirsk, Natalia Sakhnina, CEO of Chernogolovka MC LLC, told reporters on Tuesday.

"The output of the line depends on what size bottles are measured in (...) The minimum capacity of the line is 13,000 bottles per hour for a two-liter bottle, and the maximum, I think, will reach 16,000-18,000 bottles," Sakhnina said .

Investments in the project have totaled more than 400 million rubles.

Sakhnina clarified that the production line was ordered more than a year ago, and there had been plans to launch the equipment into operation sooner.

"All the problems were related to transportation, installation and launch. There were also components that were delayed on the road. Now, albeit with a delay, we have launched the line, and it has reached its full capacity," Sakhnina noted.

Andrei Tanachev, director of the Chernogolovka plant in Novosibirsk, explained that the line put into operation produces drinks in PET containers, and three more lines for the production of drinks in glass containers are also operating at the plant. The enterprise's total production capacity is 170 million bottles per year.

As reported on the website of the Chernogolovka group of companies, the group includes seven enterprises in Russia located in the Moscow, Novosibirsk, and Orenburg regions, respectively; and in the Krasnodar and Altai territories. The group also includes an enterprise in the Tashkent region, Uzbekistan. The group's portfolio includes more than 20 brands and 700 products.
