Zelensky awards foreign politicians

MOSCOW. Oct 24 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has signed an order awarding the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise of the Second Degree to Speaker of the U.S. Congress' House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi, German Parliament Speaker Barbel Bas, Irish Senate Chair Mark Daly, and French Senate President Gerard Larcher.

The order was published on the presidential website, the Ukrainian media said.

The Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise has also been bestowed on Marshal of the Polish Sejm Elzbieta Vitek, Norwegian Parliament President Masud Gharahkhani, Marshal of the Polish Senate Tomasz Grodzki, President of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia North Macedonia Talat Xhaferi, Swiss National Council President Irene Kalin, Latvian Parliament Speaker Inara Murniece, Estonian Parliament Speaker Juri Ratas, Lithuanian Parliament Speaker Viktorija Cmilyte-Nielsen and Croatian Parliament Speaker Gordan Jandrokovic.
