UAE allots $100 million for humanitarian aid to Ukraine

MOSCOW. Oct 24 (Interfax) - The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced the allotment of $100 million for humanitarian aid to Ukraine, the Ukrainian media said with the reference to the press service for the UAE mission to the United Nations.

"The international community should step up support to alleviate the suffering of civilians and ensure that their basic needs are met. Therefore, the UAE announced earlier this week the allotment of $100 million for humanitarian aid to Ukraine," the report said.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky spoke with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan last week.
