Zelensky, Goldman Sachs reps discuss attracting investment to meet Ukraine's needs
MOSCOW. Oct 21 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and visiting representatives of Goldman Sachs, one of the largest investment companies in the United States, discussed the possibility of attracting investment to help finance Ukraine's needs.
The focus of Zelensky's meeting with Goldman Sachs Executive Vice President John Rogers and Co-Head of the Office of Applied Innovation and President of Global Affairs Jared Cohen was on cyber defense and measures to counter the spread of disinformation, Ukrainian media said, citing the Ukrainian presidential press service.
Zelensky also briefed the Goldman Sachs representatives on the project to establish a recovery fund to support the Ukrainian economy and emphasized that Ukraine is absolutely open to investment and the arrival of businesses, financial companies and new technologies.
