Navalny charged with calling for terrorism, rehabilitation of Nazism - lawyer
MOSCOW. Oct 20 (Interfax) - The Russian Investigative Committee has opened a new criminal case against opposition activist Alexei Navalny, charging him with extremism, making calls for terrorism, and rehabilitation of Nazism.
"I can confirm that this criminal case has been opened against Alexei Navalny," his lawyer Vadim Kobzev told Interfax on Thursday.
Navalny is charged with several counts of crime, including public calls for extremism and terrorism, propaganda of terrorism, financing of extremist activities, and rehabilitation of Nazism.
