Indian embassy advises its citizens to immediately leave Ukraine

MOSCOW. Oct 20 (Interfax) - India's embassy to Ukraine has called on Indian citizens to immediately leave the country.

"In view of the deteriorating security situation and recent escalation of hostilities across Ukraine, Indian nationals are advised against travelling to Ukraine. Indian citizens, including students, currently in Ukraine are advised to leave Ukraine at the earliest by available means," Ukrainian media outlets quoted the Indian embassy as saying on social media on Wednesday.
