Restrictions on flights to southern Russian airports extended until Oct 28
MOSCOW. Oct 20 (Interfax) - The Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) has again extended the ban on flights to airports in central and southern Russia, this time until October 28, the agency's press service said.
The airports of Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol and Elista stay closed.
Rosaviatsiya restricted the airports' operation on February 24, the day the Russian special military operation in Ukraine began.
