Tinkoff Bank clients abroad cannot log into mobile bank, brokerage apps

MOSCOW. Oct 14 (Interfax) - Clients of Tinkoff Bank located abroad cannot log into their respective mobile bank and brokerage apps, and the credit institution advises using Russian IP addresses.

Several Tinkoff Bank clients have reported to Interfax about the complications with logging into the online bank and Tinkoff Investments outside Russia or via a VPN.

"Complications in operating the app for some clients abroad could be because of using IP addresses located outside the jurisdiction of the Russian Federation. We advise that these clients use Russian IP addresses," a Tinkoff Bank representative said.
