Ban on flights to southern Russian airports extended until Oct 22

MOSCOW. Oct 14 (Interfax) - The Russian Federal Air Transport Agency has again extended the ban on flights to airports in central and southern Russia, this time until October 22, the agency's press service said on Friday.

The airports of Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol and Elista remain closed.

The ban was imposed on February 24, the day the military operation in Ukraine began.
