Italy's Enel closes sale of stake in Enel Russia

MOSCOW. Oct 13 (Interfax) - Italian energy group Enel has closed a deal to sell its 56.43% stake in PJSC Enel Russia , the company said in a statement on the Italian stock exchange website.

Enel announced in early June that it would sell its stake in Enel Russia for 137 million euros. At the end of September, the Russian president issued an order granting Lukoil and AAA Capital Management, acting as the trust manager of the Gazprombank-Freziya fund, permission to acquire Enel's stake in Enel Russia. Lukoil will acquire 26.9% of Enel Russia and AAA Capital Management will get 29.5%.

Enel Russia includes three gas-fired power plants - Konakovskaya GRES, Nevinnomysskaya GRES and Sredneuralskaya GRES - as well as a wind farm in Rostov Region. The company is also building a wind farm in Murmansk Region.
