ArcelorMittal Krivoy Rog curtails production to save energy

MOSCOW. Oct 11 (Interfax) - ArcelorMittal Krivoy Rog PJSC (AMKR), Ukraine's largest mining and metallurgical enterprise, has said it has decided to cut electricity consumption using the most energy-intensive equipment and temporarily curtail the current production.

"This is important to cut the electricity consumption in Krivoy Rog and provide security to the personnel, which is our key priority," the company said on social media.

At the same time, the company noted that the products are shipped to customers as scheduled.

"We hope to resume the regular work schedule of the production equipment after the power supply in the country is stabilized," the statement said.
