IAEA director general to visit Ukraine again after visiting Russia

BERLIN. Oct 10 (Interfax) - International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi has said he will visit Ukraine again to discuss the situation with the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant after his pending trip to Russia for negotiations.

"The resumption of direct shelling, hitting the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant's sole source of external power, is tremendously irresponsible. The Zaporozhhye NPP must be protected. I will soon travel to Russia and again to Ukraine to agree on a protection zone. This is an imperative," Grossi said on Twitter.

The IAEA said on Friday that Grossi was planning to visit Russia at the beginning of next week. He visited Kiev in October.
