S7 to launch regular flights to Turkmenistan on Oct 17

MOSCOW. Oct 7 (Interfax) - S7 Airlines is launching regular flights from Moscow to Turkmenbasy in Turkmenistan on October 17.

Flights will be carried out once per week and will last three and a half hours, S7 said.

Turkmenistan suspended all international flights in March 2020 in connection with the coronavirus pandemic, but Turkmenistan Airlines resumed flights to the Russian cities of Kazan and Moscow this summer, as well as to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates and Frankfurt in Germany. Flights to Istanbul in Turkey have begun in October.
