Kazakhstan's Bereke Bank launches rebranding campaign

ASTANA. Oct 6 (Interfax) - Bereke Bank JSC has begun the process of rebranding and plans to complete it within six months.

"Following a change in the main shareholder, the bank's rebranding began. Green dominates the color scheme in the new logo design as a symbol of renewal and progress," the bank said.

"The rebranding of the entire network of Bereke Bank JSC will be carried out step by step and will take about six months," it said.

Baiterek and Russia's Sberbank closed a deal in early September for the sale of the Russian bank's subsidiary in Kazakhstan, which was renamed Bereke Bank. It pledged to meet all commitments to clients and keep all banking products unchanged for existing customers.

Sberbank's Kazakh subsidiary was ranked eighth by assets among the country's 22 banks as of August 1, 2022, according to the National Bank of Kazakhstan.
