French sporting goods retailer Decathlon resuming operations in Ukraine

MOSCOW. Oct 5 (Interfax) - The French sporting goods chain Decathlon has resumed the operations of its online store in Ukraine and is preparing to reopen its stores in Kiev.

All Decathlon stores in the Ukrainian capital - Decathlon Belichi, Decathlon Pochaina and Decathlon Prospekt - are due to reopen on October 7, a company spokesperson told Ukrainian media.

The Decathlon online store in Ukraine began accepting orders on September 30. They will be delivered by Nova Poshta, a private Ukrainian postal and courier company.

Decathlon is the world's largest sporting goods retailer, which specializes in designing, producing and retail sales of products for more than 70 sports.

Decathlon opened its first Ukrainian store in Kiev in March 2019. The Ukrainian capital currently has three Decathlon stores, and there is one Decathlon store in Odesa.
