Zaporozhye NPP general director expelled from region - TV channel

ROSTOV-ON-DON. Oct 4 (Interfax) - The Rossiya 24 (VGTRK) television channel has aired a footage that shows Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant General Director Igor Murashov confessing to having connections with Ukrainian special services.

"I communicated with Security Service of Ukraine employee Ihor Viktorovych via messengers. The essence of this communication was that I passed information about the current situation at the nuclear power plant," Murashov said in the video shown on Rossiya 24 (VGTRK).

The video also shows Murashov being expelled to Kyiv-controlled territory "for discrediting the Russian authorities." The TV channel also said that Murashov could have been involved in plotting acts of sabotage.

Murashov himself said that strikes on the facility were delivered by the Ukrainian side, while the station's staff were in danger while cleaning up the aftermath of shelling.
