PhosAgro board chairman Sharonov steps down after being hit by UK sanctions

MOSCOW. Oct 3 (Interfax) - The chairman of the board of directors of PhosAgro , Andrei Sharonov, who was included in the sanctions list of the United Kingdom last week, has stepped down.

PhosAgro's board will elect a new chairman on October 3, the Russian fertilizer producer said.

Sharonov, who heads the ESG Alliance and serves as vice president of Sberbank, became chairman of PhosAgro's board in July 2022.
