Export duty on Russian wheat to fall 14% to 2,119 rubles per tonne on Oct 5 - AgMin

MOSCOW. Sept 30 (Interfax) - The export duty on Russian wheat will fall 14.4% to 2,119 rubles per tonne from 2,476.6 rubles per tonne the week before on October 5, the Russian Agriculture Ministry said in a statement.

The duty on barley will fall to 1,849.8 rubles per tonne from 2,152.6 rubles per tonne and the duty on corn to 3,295.6 rubles per tonne from 3,659.9 rubles per tonne the week before.

The new duties will be in effect through October 11.

The duties are based on indicative prices of $308.1 per tonne for wheat compared to $308.2 per tonne the previous week, $282.3 for barely versus $281.8 per tonne, and $317.6 for corn, unchanged.

The duties have been calculated in rubles since July 6, rather than in dollars.
