Lukoil, Gazprombank-Frezia receive permission to purchase Enel's stake in Enel Russia

MOSCOW. Sept 30 (Interfax) - PJSC Lukoil and AAA Capital Management JSC, acting as a trustee for the Gazprombank-Frezia fund, have received permission to purchase Enel's stake in PJSC Enel Russia , according to a Russian presidential decree published on Friday.

Enel Russia's shares have risen 16.7% on the Moscow Exchange on Friday to 0.4074 rubles per share on the corporate news.

Lukoil will receive 9.5 billion shares in Enel Russia as a result of the deal, and AAA Capital Management will receive 10.4 billion shares. Enel Russia's charter capital is divided into 35.37 billion ordinary shares, meaning that Lukoil will own 26.9% of shares and AAA Capital Management 29.5%.

Italy's Enel, which owns 56.43% of PJSC Enel Russia shares, said at the beginning of June that it was selling its stake in Enel Russia to Lukoil and Gazprombank-Frezia for $135 million.

Enel Russia currently has three gas-fired power plants, Konakovskaya GRES, Nevinnomysskaya GRES, and Sredneuralskaya GRES, as well as a wind farm in the Rostov region. The power-generating company is also building a wind farm in the Murmansk region.
