Sollers Auto discussing termination of Russian JV with Mazda, plans to relaunch it - company
MOSCOW. Sept 26 (Interfax) - The Sollers Auto Russian automotive group is discussing with Japan's Mazda the termination of car manufacturing in Russia's far east, and the group has plans to relaunch production at the facilities of the former joint venture, Sollers Auto's press service told Interfax.
"PJSC Sollers Auto is indeed discussing with Mazda the matter of halting the manufacturing of autos in Vladivostok and Sollers' buying out Mazda's share in the joint venture. Meantime, Sollers Auto has already developed a plan to relaunch the plant for manufacturing the cars of other brands, and is currently finalizing negotiations on the matter," the press service said.
