Restrictions on flights to southern Russian airports extended until Oct 4

MOSCOW. Sept 26 (Interfax) - The Federal Air Transport Agency has again extended the ban on flights to the airports in central and southern Russia, this time until October 4, the agency press service said in a statement.

The airports of Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol and Elista remain closed.

The agency restricted the operation of these airports on February 24, the day the special military operation in Ukraine began.
