Ukraine exports 3.66 mln tonnes of agricultural products on Sept 1-21 - trade rep

MOSCOW. Sept 22 (Interfax) - Ukraine exported 6.47 million tonnes of all types of goods for the period of September 1-21, including 3.66 million tonnes (56.5%) of agricultural products, Ukrainian media reported referring to Deputy Economy Minister and Ukrainian Trade Representative Taras Kachka.

In particular, Ukraine exported 1.38 million tonnes of corn, 1.11 million tonnes of wheat, 562,000 tonnes of rapeseed, 338,000 tonnes of oil, and 275,000 tonnes of barley over the first three weeks of September.

Ukraine's exports of all types of ore amounted to 1.09 million tonnes in the same period.

The Ukrainian Agricultural Policy Ministry reported earlier that Ukraine exported 6.88 million tonnes of grain crops from the start of the 2022-2023 marketing year (July 2022 - June 2023) to September 21, including 3.95 million tonnes of corn (57% of all grain exports in this period), 2.3 million tonnes of wheat (33%), and 598,000 tonnes of barley (8.7%).

In September 1-21, Ukraine also exported 2.58 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops, including 1.04 million tonnes of wheat, 1.26 million tonnes of corn, 268,000 tonnes of barley, 8,400 tonnes of flour, and 1,900 tonnes of rye, the ministry said.
